Detroit, Michigan
In July of 2022, I served on a mission trip with SEU Missions to Detroit Michigan. My team and I had the incredible opportunity to serve with and learn from the Metro Detroit YWAM base. The ways that the Lord worked in and through this mission field amazes me.
Mission Trip Overview
This mission trip and the people who were a part of it continue to teach me more and more about the Lord's character. God is a gardener, a friend, a comforter, a rock; he is all these things and more. Thank you to those who donated and prayed for this mission trip. Because of what the Lord did through YOUR support, lives were changed, including my own. Below are a few of the ways that we had the privilege of serving Detroit.
Community Service
One of my favorite parts of the week was getting to help fix up homes that would later house low-income families. We spent time mowing lawns, gardening, mulching, and painting houses. During this time, I got to reflect and recognize how much of a gardener the Lord really is.
